WEGEMT participated in the Waterborne TP Board meeting on 22 January 2020 and in its General Assembly on 23 January 2020,  in Brussels.

All major stakeholders of the European maritime industry gathered to discuss various important matters such as the Co-Programmed Partnership Zero-emission Waterborne Transport, the TRA 2020 Conference and other important actions for the coming year.

WEGEMT also explained to key participants during networking interactions the research projects in which is currently involved (BE OPEN, MATES, DRIVE2THEFUTURE, IMPRESSIVE, TRAVISIONS2020, MarLEM)

WEGEMT also made an announcement to all members of the Waterborne TP about the TRA VISIONS 2020 academic competition, which presents an opportunity for students (and senior researchers) to showcase their work in an international stage at the European Transport Research Conference (TRA) which will be held in April 2020 in Helsinki.
