WEGEMT and EASN (European Aeronautics Science Network) unified their forces and agreed to establish a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), based on their mutual willingness to intensify the cooperation in science and technology. The MoU was signed by Prof. Andreas Strohmayer (EASN Chairman) and Prof. Peilin Zhou (WEGEMT Chairman) in April 2020.

The Cooperation under this MoU will serve for the development of a mutually beneficial scientific, technological and organizational cooperation between the two entities in research and education activities, promotion of developments in aeronautics, marine and in general the transport sector, boosting multimodality in transport and disseminating research achievements.
