A Waterborne TP Extraordinary General Assembly took place on 19 March 2021.
The meeting followed-up on specific items initiated in the GA of 17 February 2021 and also dealt with other important matters like the approval of: a) The Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda cPP Zero-Emission Waterborne Transport and b) The Non-cPP Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda’s.
Waterborne TP appointed WEGEMT in 2020 to draft two (out of 9 chapters) of its non-cPP Strategic Research & Innovation Agenda, one of which (titled “Social Aspects”) was presented during the GA by Dr. Ioannis Ergas on behalf of the WEGEMT Editorial Team which is a dedicated team of Professors from leading Marine European Universities.
During the meeting, WEGEMT also disseminated appropriate results from EU projects in which it participates (i.e. MATES, BEOPEN, Drive2TheFuture, MarLEM).
